This past week, a dynamic conference on 21st century Jewish learning, titled edJEWcon 5772.0, was held in Jacksonville, FL, organized and hosted by the Mrtin J. Gottlieb Day School. Twenty-one day schools from all points on the day school spectrum and fourteen “partner” organizations participated. The participants were treated to a dazzling set of presentations demonstrating how technology and 21st century learning principles (including the “5 C’s”: create, connect, communicate, collaborate, and critical thinking) can combine to transform the educational experience for children and an entire institution.
The edJEWcon team has made available a wealth of resources from the conference and the school on its website: www.edjewcon.org.
We at the Jewish Education Change Network strongly encourage you to visit the site and see how compelling 21st century Jewish learning can be. You can also follow the continuing discussion at Twitter hashtag #edjewcon
